On Friday, October 7 (5-8pm) we’ll host a ribbon-cutting ceremony and grand opening party at our new central location in Delray Beach, 247 SE 6 th Avenue, Unit 2. This party will also kick off the Miller Physical Therapy team’s participation in the 17th annual Aid to Victims of Domestic Abuse (AVDA) Race for Hope, raising money to aid victims of domestic abuse. Hors d'oeuvres and beer/wine will be served – don’t miss out on this great opportunity to preview our spacious new facility with state-of- the-art physical therapy and cardio equipment.
On Saturday, October 8, we’ll once again be racing to stop domestic abuse. The AVDA Race for
the Cure is a favorite event for the Miller family. For over three decades Aid to Victims of Domestic Abuse, Inc. has provided a safe haven for victims of domestic abuse. Thousands of
adults and children have benefited from AVDA’s 24/7 emergency shelter, crisis counseling,
food, clothing and individual and group counseling services.
We are incredibly proud to support this very worthy organization. Community service has
always been important to all of us at Miller Physical Therapy. The desire to help people lead
better, healthier lives lends itself naturally to supporting the community at large – not just
patients but also those beyond the four walls of our office.
If you’re not already familiar with AVDA, check this awesome organization out for yourself! You
can support AVDA by donating, setting up a fundraising page (whether you’re able to run or not) or joining the Miller team. Help us end domestic violence!
